Haiku Friday: Weekend Plans

A busy weekend
First, a walk for charity
in Cincinnati

Next, we come back to
Columbus to see friends in
renaissance costumes

Then on Sunday a
trip to the zoo. So what are
your plans this weekend?

(PS - This is the
last day to enter to win
a SanDisk flash drive)

(PPS - I also
have a new book review up:
Were You Raised By Wolves?)

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What's a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below or at Jennifer's blog with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). DON'T sign unless you have a haiku this week. If you need help with this, contact Jennifer or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button at the top.

REMEMBER: Do not post your link unless you have a haiku this week! We will delete any links without haiku!

My wife forgot one part of our weekend plans:

An Iron Man flies.
A great superhero film.
This Friday night.

She lists all our plans
But this movie she forgets.
She's not as thrilled.

Waiting for the film
Ever since I was a boy.
At least she's going.

Whoa. You're getting so good at your haikus I don't even notice the form anymore, just the content. That's pretty impressive, actually. Do you dream in haiku, too?

Good luck with the walk for charity!

Best of luck with that packed schedule!

My weekend will involve helping at my son's baseball game and hopefully sleeping. We'll see on the latter.

This is my first week participating in Haiku Friday. Is there a theme every week?

I hope you have a great time on the walk and you run into many hot dog and fried dough vendors along the way!!

I was just trying to write a haiku for my friend (which I haven't yet), but this gave me a good start. I have others too:

Great idea, I hope I did mine the right way, it was my first try. Thank you, and maybe you should take a rest, it sounds like you have had quiet a week or you are going to.

Sounds like fun! We just have a soccer tournament and cubmobile derby.

Sounds like you're going to be VERY busy. :)
I'm off to run errands now (after posting late). I'll go around checking haikus when I get home. :)
